Pressure Vessel & Heat Exchanger Fabrication

ALCO’s pressure vessel and HEX facility spans 49,000 sq. ft.:

  • Our facility features five overhead cranes with capacities from 10 to 22.5 tons, supported by twenty-seven 1-ton jib cranes totaling 32 cranes ranging from 1 to 22.5 tons.
  • 5” thick (127 mm) plate material handling capability
  • Heavy Vessel Rail System
  • HGG CNC 3D Profiling Machine
  • 42 Individual Workstations
  • Multiple Sub-Arc Welding Stations
  • Carbon steel and Stainless-Steel plate rolling

Pipe Spooling Fabrication

ALCO’s pipe spooling facility covers 11,000 sq. ft.

  • Seven (7) Cranes; 5 to 10 Ton Capacity
  • Eight (8) individual bays with doors ranging from 12’ to 16’ wide
  • Facility with seven (7) welding stations, five (5) fabrication stations, and a cutting station.
  • Capable of welding carbon, stainless steel, inconel and alloy steel up to 30″ pipe
  • Top of the line PipeWorx welding machines complimented with heavy duty LJ positioners.
  • Indoor material storage for major projects
  • PWHT Oven capable of stress relieving pipe and vessels 79′ Long x 10′ wide x 11 ‘ high
  • Pipe spooling performed to meet ASME B31.1 and 31.3 standards

Nisku Location

Located in Nisku, this 30,000 sq. ft. shop is built for heavy modular assembly and large skid packages. It expands ALCO’s fabrication capacity for faster, parallel project execution giving your business a prime advantage.

  • 28’ Under Hook for accommodating large modular process equipment
  • Sixteen (16) overhead cranes ranging from 5 to 20 tonnes capacity
  • Eight (8) large modular bays
  • Capable of handling skids up to 22′ wide and 120′ long

Modular Assembly

ALCO’s 44,000 sq. ft. Assembly shop is a state-of-the art facility designed for efficiency, precision, and large-scale modular integration.

  • Equipped with eight (8) overhead cranes totaling 200 tonnes of lifting capacity
  • Features 44-foot under-hook height, allowing assembly of virtually any size modular energy processing equipment
  • Includes ten (10) large modular bays with various door sizes to accommodate large modules:
    • Six (6) 26’ wide doors
    • One (1) 24’ door
    • Two (2) 16’ doors
    • One (1) 57’ wide full height swing door
  • Integrated with large flat concrete pads for accurate trial fit-ups of towers, pipe racks, and equipment modules
  • Ample on-site yard space enables completed modules to be staged and shipped in convoys streamlining transportation and field installation.
